Redbridge were held to a draw after blowing a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Barkingside in Isthmian Division One North on Saturday.
The Motormen were handed the perfect start when they won a second minute penalty after Joe Gent's cross was handled. Jay Knight converted the resulting spot-kick.
And things got even better just three minutes into the half when Gent's cross rebounded kindly off the Side post for Reside Coxi Sebastfao to turn home.
But, indicative of their fragile confidence and poor form, the Motormen conceded twice in the final 18 minutes to surrender their points.
A deflected effort from Jonathan Nzengo got the Side back into the contest before, with just eight minutes left on the clock, Tyrone Sclarlet pounced to fire home a loose ball and ensure the hosts were not left empty handed.
The Motormen host Waltham Abbey on Saturday before travelling to Isthmian Premier Division side East Thurrock United in the Essex County Cup on Tuesday.
