Ian Hendon insists no one is getting carried away at Leyton Orient despite two convincing pre-season victories this week.

The Os were impressive 3-0 winners at Colchester United on Saturday and followed this up with an easy 4-0 victory at Woking last night.

But just as the new Orient head coach was not concerned by an opening defeat to Braintree Town earlier this month, he is not going to put too much emphasis on their last two scorelines. Hendon maintains he is only interested in ensuring his side peak in time for the season opener at home to Barnet a week on Saturday.

Hendon said: "We're not getting carried away. We have had two good results but like I said we're not getting carried away.

"I'm enjoying watching them and watching them work which is the main thing. They're working so hard at the moment and they're getting the rewards for it.

"We're actually very pleased with the way things are going but I'd still stress it means nothing. Like the Braintree game in the first match we played, the result didn't matter. It's all about the 8th of August."
