The weather in London is set to be clear and sunny as today marks the London Marathon 2024.

Today (April 21) thousands of people are set to take part on the annual London Marathon competing in a 26-mile run starting at Blackheath in south east London and ending in The Mall in Central London.

Today, the weather is set to be mostly sunny and clear for runners, with sunny spells expected until 11am and for most of the afternoon.

Some cloud is predicted for London, although no rain is currently forecast, with temperatures set to hit highs of 13 degrees.

The weather is set to remain clear for the remainder of the evening, with some cloud and light wind expected by the evening into the early morning on Monday.
