Thousands will be running the 26-mile-long route in just a few days as part of the London Marathon. 

However, alongside the everyday people, there will also be a few famous faces among the 40,000 participants. 

Stars of reality TV, radio DJs, musicians, former footballers, actors, Olympic athletes and even racing drivers will be competing.

Celebrities running the London Marathon 2024

Harry Judd- A drummer from the popular band McFly and also the winner of Strictly Come Dancing in 2011 who also ran the marathon last year. Running for The Children's Trust.

Christopher Eccleston- Actor best known for his role as Doctor Who as well as starring in Thor: The Dark World and The Leftovers. Running for The Big Issue.

Darren Turner- British racing driver Darren Turner will run for charity Hope for Tomorrow.

Joel Dommett- TV presenter known as the host of ITV's The Masked Singer will be running for Shooting Star Children's Hospice.

Ruth Wilson- Award-winning actress known for starring in The Affair, Luther, Mrs Wilson and Jane Eyre. Running for Alzheimer’s Research UK.

Tom Grennan- Singer with popular songs Little Bit of Love, Lionheart, and Let's Go Home Together. Running for Shelter.

Phil Dunster- Actor best known for his role as Jamie Tarrt in Apple TV Ted Lasso. Running for Young Lives Vs Cancer.

Emma Barton- Actor on BBC's soap EastEnders who plays the role of Honey Mitchell. 

Laura Hamilton- TV presenter best known for hosting A Place in the Sun, running for Well Child.
