Pubs across Waltham Forest will offer a wide range of craft ciders as part of a 17-day festival.

The festival will take place at Wetherspoons pubs across the borough, including The King’s Ford in Chingford, The Drum in Leyton and The Walnut Tree in Leytonstone from July 8 to July 24.

Pubs will each serve up to 18 ciders, which were not previously available or have been produced exclusively for the festival.

The King’s Ford manager, Roberta Jaggs, said: "The King’s Ford will be offering a superb selection of ciders during the 17 day festival.

“We are confident that they will appeal to cider lovers and those enjoying cider for the first time."

The festival selection will feature apple, pear and fruit ciders.

They include award-winning ciders, a cider made with sloe berries, a cider matured in oak vats, and a cider flavoured with mango.

All drinks at the festival will be priced at under £3 a pint.
