A Domino's pizza delivery driver was attacked by two robbers.

Police in Waltham Abbey are appealing for information about last Friday's incident in Woollard Street at 9.30pm.

The female pizza delivery driver, who works for the Waltham Abbey branch in Darby Drive, was pushed against a wall by two men, who demanded money from her.

The victim did not have any money and the suspects then ran off, leaving her with minor injuries to her face.

Police describe the suspects as white, between 5ft 11ins and 6ft tall and both wearing baggy trousers and black coats.

A spokesman for Dominoes Waltham Abbey branch said: "It is the first time this has happened since I have been here. But she is fine and will be back at work this evening."
