A radical Islamist from Walthamstow who feld to fight with Islamic State in Syria has proudly announced the birth of his son, with the baby in one arm and a rifle in the other, as he posed for a picture on Twitter.
Abu Rumaysah, 31, fled the UK to Syria while on police bail.
He was arrested in September on suspicion of encouraging terrorism as part of a probe into the banned extremist group al-Muhajiroun, which was led by preacher Anjem Choudhary.
He was ordered to hand in his passport, but left London on a coach to Paris.
This week, he bragged online about escaping British authorities.
He tweeted a picture of himself with his baby in a bear suit.
He wrote: "With my newborn son. #GenerationKhilafah” .
Rumaysah, whose real name is Siddhartha Dhar, has won praise from fellow jihadists on the social networking site.
