Images of suspected burglars taken on a smartphone by a woman who belived they attempted to break into her home have been released by police in Waltham Forest.
The incident happened on November 1 in Markhouse Road, Walthamstow.
At around 2.15pm, the victim, believed to be in her 50s, heard rattling at her front door.
When she opened it, she found the men standing in her porch, but none of them could explain why they were there.
She later found tool marks on her door which resembled an attempt to break in.
The images have been passed to the Guardian as part of a joint venture with the Metropolitan Police to identify potential perpetrators of unsolved crimes in the borough.
